With just days until the end of the semester, it’s time to study, study, study! If you need a quiet place that will allow you to focus on preparing for finals or writing that end of the semester term paper, the library is the place to go. Study areas on the upper level (particularly the northwest corner) and the lower level provide a quiet atmosphere that is free from distractions.
Need space to work on a group presentation or study with friends? The library has 8 group study rooms available for student use. 3 of the group study rooms can be reserved ahead of time by calling 605.688.5107 or stopping at the library’s Circulation Desk. The remaining 5 rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Remember that the Information Desk is staffed through finals week from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday. If you need any last minute help with finding resources for a paper, citations, or other research questions, please contact staff at the Information Desk (605.688.5570 or via e-mail).
