Explore Scitation Today

Scitation is produced by the American Institute of Physics and it indexes articles from journals, magazines, conference proceedings, technical publications, standards and other publications from scientific societies and technical publishers.  Abstracts, references, and citations are available for all references and PDF or html full-text for many articles from journals to which SDSU subscribes.  References are linked from the abstracts and articles referencing the displayed article can also be searched.  Scitation regularly resubmits reference information to add links that may have become viable after the article was originally published.

Scitation includes links to many rich sources of information, including ISI’s Web of Science, MEDLINE, Chemport/Chemical Abstracts Service, SPIN database, INSPEC, EDP Sciences, X-ArkiV, SLAC-SPIRES, and other Scitation journals with almost 600,000 articles, among others. To view Scitation and other featured and trial databases visit the Featured and Trial Databases page on the library’s website.
