1-Minute Survey on Document Delivery Service

January 18, 2011

Occasionally, in your research, you may find articles that are available in print at the library, but are not available electronically. In these cases, you can come to the library, find the journal on the shelf, and make copies for your research. Library staff realizes that this process takes an investment of time and so we are conducting a survey to see if patrons are interested in a document delivery service.

The proposed document delivery service would allow SDSU on-campus students, faculty and staff to order articles that are available in print in the library’s collection. The items would be scanned and delivered electronically via our ILLiad interlibrary loan system.

Before we plunge in we want your input. Please take our survey located at http://questionpro.com/t/AE4JfZIx8N. The survey is very short, but will let us know if you are interested in the document delivery service and how much you would be willing to pay for the service. Please respond to the survey by February 1.

If you have questions about the proposed service please contact Rachel Manzer (688-5573) or Mary Kraljic (688-4049).
